Matt Rogers, who hails from Long Island (you’ve heard of it), is the Assistant Director of Hammerkatz NYU, as well as one of its writers and performers. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a concentration in Television. While at NYU, Matt has been a part of several productions in the Playwright’s Horizons Theater School and the Experimental Theater Wing as an actor and collaborator. He also once played an ill-fated pirate in a 6th grade production of “Peter Pan” and appeared in a regional commercial for a company that could make wax models out of your hand and gift them to you as party favors. Matt has had his work performed around NYC at such venues as the Upright Citizen’s Brigade and will appear this year in NYU’s The Reality Show, a musical directed by Elizabeth Swados to be performed at the Beacon Theatre. His favorite song is “Ghostbusters” by Ashlee Simpson, if it exists.
Jenny Jaffe is the director of Hammerkatz. She is a TV Writing concentrate in the Tisch School of the Arts class of 2012. She has written a lot of things, and acted in a lot of things, too, but she doesn't like to brag. She is a natural redhead. She has a website. It's called www.jennyjaffe.com and you should go to it and email her. She's very friendly and wants to be your friend.
Billy Domineau has been a proud member of Hammerkatz since 2009. He studies Television Writing at Tisch. Billy can also regularly be seen performing improv at NYU with Dangerbox and the PIT with Gentlemen Party. He has trained at iO Chicago and UCB under the likes of Susan Messing, Joe Bill, and TJ Jagodowski. Do you want to hear someone scream? Come to a Hammerkatz show. Billy will probably be the one doing that.
Sudi is currently pursuing a Bachelors in Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing at NYUs Tisch School of the Arts, concentrating in Writing for Television. In addition to writing and performing with Hammerkatz, Sudi is a founding member of NYU's improv group Captain Soldier. She has performed improv and sketch comedy at theatres and campuses across the country, including the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and the Chicago Improv Festival's College Improv Tournament Nationals. Sudi is from a very small land called Delaware, perhaps you've heard of it? Yes, our nation's Vice President is from this very same state...no, not Pennsylvania...I know because I saw the Dark Knight in the same theatre as him! It WAS really him! Alright, what about Terri Polo? She's from Delaware. No...you're right...I'm making it up, Delaware* doesn't exist...neither does Terri Polo.
*Sudi was born in sunny Tuscon, Arizona.
Jack was born in Los Angeles, California where he got his start in comedy making short films with his friends. He auditioned for Hammerkatz his freshman year at NYU and has been performing and writing comedy ever since. His time in Hammerkatz has inspired him to pursue stand up and create a comedy band (with fellow Hammerkat Jenny Jaffe) called "Plaidadactyl." When he's not in New York, he's creating sketches with "Neon Albatross:" a sketch group based out of Los Angeles made up of most of his friends from high school.
